New Delhi: Union minister Nitin Gadkari today asserted that the Centre was providing all the facilities to Andhra Pradesh even without special category status.
Speaking at BJP Parliamentary Party meeting, Gadkari said all facilities were being extended to AP State on par with SCS. Gadkari congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on winning no-confidence motion moved by Opposition parties. Raising the issue of Andhra Pradesh, Gadkari said the Centre was ready to set up railway zone at Visakhapatnam. He also alleged that attempts were being made to mislead the people in the name of SCS to AP.
The no-confidence motion moved by the Opposition has given an opportunity to explain to the people about the measures and welfare programmes being taken by the Modi government, Gadkari said. He alleged that Opposition parties have moved no-confidence motion in Parliament though there was no need for it. (NSS)
