China Faces Vaccine Shortage
As per the latest reports, some areas in China are reportedly facing a shortage of the Covid 19 vaccines supplies. Following this, some of the netizens were unable to get their second shots of the Covid 19 vaccine.
However, a health official confirmed that the situation will be handled at ease by June this year. This comes after the vaccination drive in China slowed down in the past few days. As per the counts, the government administered 3.3 million vaccines in the past seven days till Monday. They had come down from 4.4 million average vaccines per day.
Zheng confirmed that the domestic vaccine supply is currently tight. But by May especially after June, the vaccination supply will be at ease significantly.
China has administered 145 million Covid 19 vaccinations so far and plans to vaccinate at least 40 percent of their population by the end of summer.
