Vijay was spotted by TSWERIES , a Social Welfare Schools organisation headed by Dr.Praveen Kumar , learned his sailing at the Yacht Club of Hyderabad for a few years before he was recruited by the Army Boys Sports School run by the Engineers Regiment in Bangalore.
