The Chief Justice of India, NV Ramana, has urged all institutions to introduce a course on Constitution and Governance no matter what their stream of learning is.
The basic laws and principles of the land must be known by our students. Our Constitution is our ultimate safeguard, so citizens must connect with it. It is for this reason that I insist on propagating constitutional culture, he said.
The Chief Justice of India said the ideas of the Constitution need to be simplified for everyone’s understanding and empowerment during his address at the Osmania University’s 82nd convocation on Friday. CJI recalled his dreams of joining Osmania University for law when he was a student at OU. As a result, he said, he was not able to join the university.
“Even though I couldn’t officially join, I’ve stayed here at the E-Hostel on many occasions with my friends. As a law and linguistics student, I have taken several classes. In the canteens and library, I spent a lot of time. I have many fond memories of this university,” he said.
In addition to reading books, Justice Ramana urged the graduating students not to forget their roots and to read Telugu literature.

Many students are taking their lives. She urged the students to be systematic in their lives. Students who had passed the examinations between October 2021 and July 2022 were presented certificates at the convocation.
The OU Vice Chancellor Prof. D Ravinder presented a report on the university. A total of 55 gold medals were presented to 31 meritorious candidates and 221 Ph.D. degrees were awarded.
