Hyderabad: Telangana Government today appointed retired IAS official C Partha Sarathi as state election Commissioner.
Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has picked him for the top post at the state level. The government has issued orders in this regard and Partha Sarathi will be in office for three years.
Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Ministry have issued an order 33 for the appointment of the state election Commissioner, Partha Sarathi has served the state in various capacities including principal secretary of agriculture.
The government said that the same will be published in the extraordinary Gazette. Partha Sarathi succeeds in V Nagi Reddy who completed five years term.
