Chief Minister of the state KCR today faulted the behavior of opposition patty MLAs from the Congress party in the house during question hour.
Rebutting the allegations of the opposition party MLAs that the funds belonging to villages of the state have been diverted, he said that the allegations were far from the truth. He made it clear that they had issues with GOs as per Telangana State Panchayat Raj Act 2018. He said that he would get pity after listening to the comments of the members of the house.
He made it clear that it was not proper for the members to speak anything at the drop of a hat. He claimed that the sarpanches of Telangana were leading a life of dignity in the entire country and added that they could lift their heads with pride.

KCR said that several Union Ministers heaped praises on the Sarpanches of the state. He said that several sarpanches received awards from the Prime Minister of the country and Niti Ayog. He alleged that the sarpanches suffered a lot during the rule of previous governments.
No funds from Center
KCR said that the state was not getting separate funds from the Central government and added that the state gets the funds as per the recommendations of the finance committee of the country. Responding to the comments made by CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
KCR said that the CLP leader had made false comments. He said that they did not promise to give funds to those villages which had unanimous elections and added that there was no mention of Giving funds to the villages with unanimous elections in the panchayat Raj act. He said that the release of the funds would be based on the PR Act. He said that they had given funds to the village sarpanches besides giving them an adequate number of powers to discharge their duties.
Earlier, Congress party MLA Seethakka raised the question of the diversion of the funds along with CLP leader Vikramarka. She alleged that the speaker was not giving time to the opposition party members in the house. She wondered whether they would be given time in the house on praising the government. She demanded the state government give clarity on the funds being released to the villages of the state.
Stating that they are hearing news about the diversion of the funds, she asked the state government about the steps initiated by it to prevent such diversion. She asked the state government as to why it was scared of discussing the problems faced by the villages of the state. The speaker of the house Pocharam Srinivas Reddy intervened at the junction and asked her to conclude her speech.
However, Seethakka objected to the intervention of the speaker and made it clear that she was raising the questions on behalf of the people of the state. CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka objected to the manner of the response of the CM KCR. He asked the CM if h was making material payments under MGNREGS.

He told the CM that several village sarpanches were committing suicides due to the non-release of the funds by the state government. He alleged that the state government was giving the funds only to those villages ruled by the ruling TRS party.
He claimed that the sarpanches were giving the salaries of village staff. He said that he was hurt at the intervention of the speaker when their party member Seethakka was asking questions to the state government.
