Hyderabad: Former MP and senior Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao didn’t have love towards land oustees of Mid Manair irrigation project like his native village Chintamadaka.
Ponnam made these remarks after taking part in a padayatra held by the land oustees of the mid-Manair project. He asked the natives of the area and ruling TRS Rajya Sabha MP J. Santosh Kumar to adopt his native village instead of adopting a forest. He made it clear that he would fight on behalf of the affected people of the mid-Manair project. (NSS)
