Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is to visit the Warangal district on Tuesday and assess crop damage due to unseasonal rains. He will take up district-level tours to push development programs according to information.
The chief minister will make an official visit to see the rain-affected crops. The CM is to interact with the farmers whose crops were damaged due to untimely rains. There are reports that huge losses occurred to the crops due to untimely rains.

The Chief Minister will visit villages like Parakala, Narsanpet, and others. It was decided in the Cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister to procure paddy from the purchase centers until all stocks were cleared. The CM directed the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to instruct the officials in the districts to lift the paddy stocks and make timely payments to the farmers.
The CM will visit Warangal along with agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy and Somesh Kumar to assess crop loss that occurred to the farmers. He will give confidence to the farmers that the government will offer all support to them. In the meeting the health officials were informed about the corona situation, preparedness to tackle third wave, omicron, corona cases surge, and facilities to check spread.
