CM YS Jagan hoists National Flag

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today hoisted the national flag at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion he said that tomorrow should give confidence to all the people of the state and added that today was meant to fix goals of the development of the state.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the tableaux organized by various government departments and presented awards to the state government officials on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they were providing a transparent rule to all the people of the state. He also said that they were taking all steps for doing justice to all SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities of the state. YS Jagan said that his government had taken up several welfare programs during his last 26 Months long rule.

The CM said that they had spent ₹83000 crores on the agriculture sector of the state and added that they were providing quality power to the farmers of the state during day time.

The CM said they had distributed ₹13500 crores under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.  He also said that the state government had distributed ₹17,000 crores under the scheme to the farmers so far. He also said that they had provided a farmer insurance scheme to 31 lakh farmers of the state so far.

He further said that they had  Set up a ₹3000 crore price regulation fund for the farmers. The CM said that the state government had spent ₹33000 crores for the procurement of food grains.

Speaking further, the CM said that the state government was providing pensions to the people of the state on the first of every month through village secretariats and added that they had to provide 1.3 lakh permanent jobs to the people of the state.

He also said that they were providing services to the people of the state through RBKs and added that they had spent ₹1039 crore under the input subsidy scheme.
