Hyderabad: The Telangana State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy today instructed the District Collectors to hold polls for President, Vice President and co-opted members for mandal parishads in the districts. He issued a notification in this regard and informed that the results will be announced on June 7 after receiving the applications in due format.
The poll body gave powers to the District Collectors to call special meetings in this regard. The results will be announced on June 7 followed by all procedures. Nagi Reddy further said that all MPPs will go for electing members, vice presidents and Presidents except Mangapet MPP in Mulugu district, Burgampadu in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Jadcherla in Mahabubnagar district. The process will start before or June 6 in this regard and announce results on the next day. (NSS)
