Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Dr SK Joshi today instructed the officials concerned to complete all the changes pertaining to ease of doing business (EODB) in the State by March 27.
In a review meeting with the officials at Secretariat here today, Joshi said 78 changes out of 80 have been made as per the process of “Ease of Doing-Business” (EODB) and all 78 changes have been completed and remaining two in eight days. The Chief Secretary asked the Industries department to coordinate with other wings for speedy dissemination of permissions and smooth governance as per procedures. Joshi stressed the need for reforms through feedback methodology and implementation guidelines. The reforms have to be followed as per DIPP guidelines and ensure transparency, he said.
Joshi asked the commissioners to give suggestions for giving approval of construction permission to Industries in cooperation with other departments like forest, fire, municipal and Labour department. “This was to ensure that the related data was kept with regard to workers’ enrolment with ESI Corporation. The officials informed that the officials of Mission Bhagiratha and Metro Water Works have completed the related works to supply purified waters to households.
Ajay Mishra, Jayesh Ranjan, Sunil Sharma, Sheshank Goyal, Commissioner for Industries Nadeem Ahmed, Pollution Control Board Secretary Satyanarayana Reddy, Law Secretary Niranjan Rao, Fire Services DG Gopi Krishna and others were present. (NSS)
