Hyderabad: All party leaders have said that their main intention was to dethrone the care taker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from his position. Leaders from Congress, TDP and CPI had meeting at Park Hayat hotel here on Tuesday.
The leaders—N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka (Congress), L Ramana, Revuri Prakash Reddy, E Peddi Reddy (TDP) and Chada Venkat Reddy (CPI) participated in the discussions on poll alliance. Later speaking to the media, L Ramana said that they were floating Maha Kootami with Congress, TDP and Left parties. He alleged that KCR ignored the fact that the people gave him power. Instead of staying in news as a model state, Telangana government abolished the Assembly without discussing with anyone.
Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR’s rule was an atrocious rule. He said that they will work with peoples’ organisations, employees and unemployed unions. He said that they will work uniting the opposition parties for the sake of elections. He said that it was a first meeting in this regard. Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that KCR destroyed the democratic values and encouraged party defections. He made it clear that they will work with the aim of dethroning KCR from the Chief Minister’s position. (NSS)
