With the pandemic and new versions of the coronavirus coming up, three new cases of the Ebola virus have emerged. The senior health official said that the Democratic Republic of the Congo have confirmed the cases.
WHO Reports First Recovery From Ebola Virus
As per the latest reports, three cases of the Ebola Virus have been reported from the North Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The country overall has reported eleven cases since February 7 this year in the Butembo health zone.
Reports suggest that a total of four patients infected from the Ebola virus have died so far.
On Sunday last week, the World Health Organization and the Ebola response team from the country reported the first recovery case from the virus at the treatment centre in Butembo, Congo.

Since the insurgence, around three hundred people have come in contact with the Ebola virus. However, the vaccine against the virus is already on its way to the country.
Source For Ebola Virus Infection Is Under Investigation
Reports suggest that the case registered of the Ebola Virus is of an adult female. The source is still being investigated. The patient reported nasal bleeding on January 25, 2021 following which she received health care from a local facility. Later she was admitted to the hospital as she reported weakness, dizziness and difficulty in breaking. She eventually died on February 4, 2021.
Since then, there have been a couple of cases regarding the Ebola virus outbreak across the area. To curb the spread of the Ebola Virus to more people across the country, WHO has advised the authorities to continue to train the people in early detection and treatment of the virus.

WHO has also advised the government to teach the communities to practice safe burial practices along with availing them with protective equipment.
