Chidambaram on Wednesday has slammed the government and media for not concentrating entirely on the attention of rejecting of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity (MoC) and asserted that “later Muslims, Christians are the new targets of the Hindutva brigade”.

Taking to Twitter, he said: “Did you see that the traditional press has expelled the tale of MHA-FCRA-Missionaries of Charity from its pages? Sad and Shameful! The rejection of renewal to MoC is an immediate assault on NGOs who are doing yeoman administration for ‘poor people and pitiable’ of India. On account of MoC, it uncovers predisposition and bias against Christian cause work. Later Muslims, Christians are the new objective of the Hindutva detachment.”
