Congress leaders arrested at MLA Quarters

Hyderabad: Jostling took place between the police and City Congress leaders when the police arrested City Congress leaders under the leadership of Greater Congress Chief M Anjan Kumar Yadav when the latter tried to lay a siege to the GHMC Office here on Wednesday.

The police arrested by blockading the Congress activists at MLA Quarters by locking the gates which led to serious argument between the police and Congress party activists. The police arrested the Congress activists at MLA Quarters and shifted them to Narayanaguda Police Station.

Speaking at Narayanaguda Police Station, Anjan Kumar Yadav alleged that the condition of roads were not good in Hyderabad. Both Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Municipal Minister KT Ramarao were giving falsehood assurances for the development of Hyderabad city. They assured that they will transform the Hyderabad City as Dallas and Istanbul cities but did nothing, he slammed. The roads were good at before the Chief Minister’s residence. The government was arresting if staged protest program, he lamented and warned that the coming government was Congress one.

Opposition leader in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir alleged that the democracy in the state was being killed by the TRS government. He said that he heard that a woman underwent delivery in the Auto when she was going to hospital due to bad roads and this incident clearly shows the condition of Hyderabad roads.

TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, who visited Narayanaguda Police Station along with Shabbir Ali, alleged that the roads were full of pits. The people were facing lot of troubles due to bad roads. The government kept Anjan Kumar, who tried to stage protest program in front of GHMC office, in police station. There was no democracy in the state and dictatorial rule was going on in the state. The day the people would revolt on some day would come. Every development took place in Hyderabad was under the rule of Congress party only. unfortunately, the TRS government claiming the development during Congress regime as its work, he pointed out.
