Hyderabad: In a big shock to the Congress ahead of by-poll in the Dubbaka segment, its leaders have jumped over to the ruling test fold. Komatireddy Venkata Narasimha Reddy, Bompally Narsimha Rao, and their followers have joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi ( TRS ) as finance minister T Harish Rao at a campaign program in the Dubbaka segment here.
Welcoming them Harish Rao has slammed that Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee ( TPCC ) Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for calling Sujatha as an inefficient leader to become an MLA. The TRS chief has selected her to serve the segment who is noted for her participation in the previous poll campaign he said.
T Harish Rao thanked the Congress leaders for their decision to support the TRS candidate Sujatha in the bypolls. Harish Rao said that Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has selected Sujatha to continue Ramalinga Reddy ideals to serve the segment. Finance Minister, T Harish Rao today lashed out at the congress and the BJP leadership for coming to the Dubbaka segment only during polls and making false charges.
The minister T Harish Rao asked Uttam Kumar Reddy whether any congress ruling states like Punjab, Kerala, and Rajasthan are implementing welfare schemes like Kalyan Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao government has offered financial support to 7 lakhs of poor families he said. Minister T Harish Rao claimed that each family gets Rao 1,01600 u der marriage scheme. The Congress and the BJP are coming only during the polls and there is no cadre. The people have to teach them a lesson by rejecting the opposition parties he asked. Our government is for all-round development of the segment the minister added. Only the Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate with our help will serve better T Harish Rao said.
