Hyderabad: The Congress Manifesto Committee today met under the chairmanship of former deputy chief minister Damodara Rajanarsimha. All the committee members, except co-chairman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, attended the meeting and constituted eight sub-committees.
The committee also decided to solicit views from stakeholders from three major areas —- Coal belt area specific, Greater Hyderabad specific with ITIR and entire Telangana State. The Committee will elicit views of Adarsha Rythulu, Sakshara Bharathi, contract employees, Private Nurses and other affected sections of employees. Farmers – tenant, endowment & podu farmers, Youth- ITIR specific Women, Retired people. The Committee also decided to take specific inputs for SCs, STs, Minority & Bcs – in light of TRS not living up to promises made during last elections. (NSS)
