Congress Moves Adjournament Notices Over Lakhimpur Kheri Case In Lok Sabha; Calls The Accident “Pre-Planned”

As per the latest updates, Congress MPs on Wednesday moved a few adjournment notices in the Lok Sabha looking for a discussion on the Lakhimpur Kheri case and expulsion of Minister of state Ajay Misra Teni later SIT report named the violence as “pre-planned”.

Rahul Gandhi, alongside party boss whip K. Suresh and Manickam Tagore moved the notification to press for the expulsion of Teni, whose child had supposedly cut down four farmers while they were fighting against the three combative homestead laws in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3.

On Tuesday, The Special Investigation Team (SIT) testing the Lakhimpur Kheri savagery, documented an application before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) to incorporate new segments against the 13 accused to make their offense culpable under endeavor to kill allegations.

Vidhyaram Diwakar, the SIT exploring official, had documented the application in the CJM’s court for adding new areas in the warrant, supplanting segments 279, 338 and 304A of the IPC. In his application, the investigating officer had brought up that the ‘occurrence was all around arranged and an intentional demonstration, and not of negligence or callousness”.

Eight individuals were killed in Banbirpur town close to Tikunia in the Lakhimpur Kheri area on October 3 later three vehicles supposedly ran over a gathering of farmers returning subsequently to organizing a dissent against the combative three homestead laws, causing a huge shock among farmers. The farmers were upset against Mr. Mishra later an implied video, where he could be heard saying it would take him two minutes to teach them.

Two FIRs were documented for the situation. One was held up on the protest of the groups of the dead farmers. It named Ashish Mishra as the main accused. The other one was documented by Sumit Jaiswal against anonymous farmers for inducing viciousness that prompted the passing of three individuals later the SUVs hit the farmers. During the fundamental examination, in a video, Mr. Jaiswal was seen running from one of the vehicles of the SUVs that hit the farmers. He was captured and made one of the 13 charged for the situation.
