Congress plaint to EC—Allege Attacks by BJP, TRS

Hyderabad: A team of the Congress led alliance party leaders today filed a complaint with  the Chief Electoral Officer, Dr Rajath Kumar against the BJP workers at Jangareddypalli village of Aamangal Mandal in Kalwakurthy segment. The team complained that the BJP workers attacked  congress candidate Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy. They sought EC to take action against the BJP leaders and prevent such incidents.

They also complained that last night, congress candidate of Tandur  P Rohit Reddy was attacked by TRS workers led by Tandur  TRS  President Rawoof and others; and AICC Secretary Madhu Yashki Goud was attacked by TRS workers of Metpally  and his car was damaged.  They demanded action against BJP and TRS leaders.      Later they told media persons that the BJP leaders and workers injured Vamshi Chandra Reddy with lathis and stones. As a result he was shifted to NIMS.

They also alleged that the BJP candidate T Achary and his followers were  luring and threatening the voters in queue. The delegation included R Chandra Sekhar Reddy (TDP), M Kodanda Reddy and T Niranjan (Cong), Palla Venkat Reddy (CPI) and Jandyala Ravi Shanker, Advocate. (NSS)
