Covid-19 second wave is increasing rapidly in Telangana State, causing much worry to the authorities. During the past 24 hours, 62,973 Coronavirus tests were conducted in the State. Of them, 1,321 persons tested positive, according to the Coronavirus bulletin released by the Medical and health department this morning. With this, the number of Coronavirus cases rose to 3,12,140 in the State. There are 7,923 active cases now.
Five persons died of Coronavirus on Saturday, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,717. Yesterday, 293 persons recovered from the Coronavirus. As many as 3,886 patients are under home isolation now. In the GHMC limits, the incidence is increasing day by day. Yesterday, 320 persons tested positive.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 30 from Adilabad, 6 from Bhadradri, 320 from areas under GHMC, 46 from Jagtiyal, 13 Jangaon, 12 from Bhupalpally, 6 from Gadwal, 15 from Kamareddy, 41 from Karimnagar, 23 from Khammam, 11 from Asifabad, 30 from Mahabubnagar, 13 from Mahabubabad, 24 from Mancherial, 14 from Medak, 144 from Medchal Malkajgiri, two from Mulugu, 14 from Nagarkurnool, 28 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, 64 from Nirmal, 96 from Nizamabad, 14 from Peddapalli, 35 from Siricilla, 121 from Rangareddy, 49 from Sangareddy, 23 from Siddipet, 19 from Suryapet, 15 from Vikarabad, 10 from Wanaparthy, eight from Warangal Rural, 43 Warangal Urban and 21 from Yadadri
Marriage party havoc
In Siddapur village of Nizamabad District, 86 persons who attended a marriage were affected by Coronavirus, creating panic in the village. Following this, officials became alert and started conducting Coronavirus testing camps for the last three days. In Nizamabad District, as many as 865 persons were affected by Coronavirus during the last 20 days. Minister Prashantareddy directed the officials to arrange for quarantine camps in the district.
