Hyderabad: The CPI has decided to organize mass hunger strikes and protest programs before Tahsildar offices on July 23 and 24 against the non-fulfillment of the assurances given by the TRS government on double bed room houses, houses sites, three acre land to daliths, land pattas to podu farmers, pending bills of Indiramma houses, medical and health issues and others.
The State CPI convened a State executive committee meeting today at Maqdhoom Bhavan here on Tuesday under presidentship of T Venkatramulu. CPI national secretary Athulkuma Anjan explained the national political situation. CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy submitted a report on the State political situation. The meeting also took several decisions.
Following the decision of national executive committee, the party will launch extensive campaign from August 1 to 14 against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s failures by organizing public meetings, seminars, discussions and publishing pamphlets and book-lets. They State party has to form jathas and start across the nation from four places in September-October with the slogan ‘Protect the Nation-Protect the Constitution’ when they entered the State.
The State party will extend full support to the AISF’s proposed ‘Koluvula Porukeka’ to be organised on July 6. The party will conduct Rajabahadur Gour birth anniversary celebrations on grand note on July 21. (NSS)
