Hyderabad: A criminal case against TDP Allagadda leader and former tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya’s husband Maddula Bhargav Ram Naidu was lodged in the Gachibowli police station under Sections 353, 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The case was filed in the Cyberabad Commissionarate by the AP police after he allegedly escaped when they had gone to arrest him at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Allagadda Rural SI of Kurnool district said that they came to Hyderabad to arrest Bhargav Ram and found him leaving his house in a car and chased him in the Gachibowli area. But he escaped from the police and also rammed the car on to the police team’s vehicle and escaped.
Earlier Allagadda police have registered a case against Bhargav Ram and 10 other people involved in a dispute with a quarry factory owner Sivarami Reddy. Sivaraman Reddy, in his police complaint, said that Bhargav was allegedly threatening him to forcibly handover the quarry crusher factory to him. The other persons involved in the case are, Madala Srinu, Nagireddy Palle Shekar Reddy, Srinu, Alla Subbaiah, Nagendra, Driver Ganesh, Mangali Pawan, Mahesh, Sampath Nani, and Sharif. In this connection, they had come to arrest him and he escaped after trying to harm them with his vehicle.
