Hyderabad: Chief Secretary SK Joshi today got seriousness over the failure of staff of Village Panchayats in the State.
The CS conducted a review meeting here on Tuesday and expressed displeasure at the absence of the employees to the duties. The Government will take it very serious on such staff, he warned. Against total 33,534 staff, only 19,852 employees were remaining absent from duties, Joshi observed. He asked the Collectors of the districts to collect details of such erring employees abstaining from attending the duties till August 22, by 5 pm. He also asked the Collectors to press in special officers to collect the details of absent employees. He also sought that special officers be directed and take up alternative measures in all village panchayats from August 23. (NSS)
