In a bid to alleviate traffic congestion and improve road traffic management, the Cyberabad Traffic Pulse initiative was launched by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty and Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis. The launch event, held in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Tanla, aims to provide real-time traffic updates and keep commuters informed through multiple platforms, including WhatsApp, Google RCS, SMS, and Flash Messages.
The Cyberabad Traffic Pulse platform allows users to register their phone numbers on the Traffic Pulse website to receive updates on road closures, VIP movements, accidents, diversions, and other traffic-related information. This service aims to make commuting smoother and more efficient for residents, particularly in high-traffic areas across the Cyberabad region.
During the launch event, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mohanty emphasized the platform’s role in enhancing road traffic management and improving the overall commuting experience. “The Traffic Pulse will help us better manage traffic flow and provide timely updates to our citizens, especially during critical moments like road diversions or accidents,” he said.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis elaborated on the platform’s features, highlighting its ability to send real-time updates on traffic conditions, road closures, and accident alerts. He also pointed out that the platform would allow citizens to interact with the Traffic Police, share their feedback, and receive personalized alerts based on their location and travel needs.
Rajesh, Joint Secretary of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), emphasized how the initiative aligns with the council’s mission to enhance traffic management in the city. “This platform is a step forward in ensuring smoother and safer commuting for everyone in Cyberabad,” Rajesh said.
Tanla’s Shriram also expressed pride in supporting the project, acknowledging the significant role the company played in enabling the platform’s development. “We are honored to contribute to a project that will benefit the entire community by improving traffic flow and communication with the Traffic Police,” Shriram said.
The event concluded with a gesture of appreciation, as a memento was presented to Tanla’s team for their contributions to the successful launch of the Cyberabad Traffic Pulse initiative. This marks a major step forward in improving traffic management and communication for the city’s commuters.
With this new platform, Cyberabad’s residents now have access to more efficient traffic updates and a direct link to the authorities, making their daily commutes safer and more convenient.
