D Srinivas Challenges His Son’s Remand in Court

Hyderabad: TRS Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas filed a petition in the High Court challenging the police remand of his son D Sanjay in connection with nursing Students sexual harassment allegations case. He has mentioned in his petition that the police remanded his son as per Andhra Pradesh Police Manual. He alleged in his petition that the Telangana government didn’t prepare police manual though the state was formed five years ago. He mentioned in his petition that the cases filed against his son were invalid. Accepting the petition, the Court postponed the case to August 21. (NSS)
