Hyderabad: Interrogation of four employees of a Hyderabad-based IT firm, IT Grids India Private Limited, which has links with the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh, was completed by Cyberabad police. The four employees — Regonda Bhaskar, Phani Kaduluri, Gurudu Chandra Sekhar and Vikram Goud — were produced before the High Court on Monday morning by Madhapur Cyber crime police.
Advocate-General of the State TN Prasad, appearing on behalf of the State government and the Police department told the High Court that the four employees of the IT firm were not arrested but simply brought to the police station for inquiry. The A-G said the apex court had made it clear to the petitioners that it would not interfere with the investigation being done by the Cyberabad police in the case filed against the Company’s director D. Ashok.
Advocate-General approached the HC and filed a Habeas Corpus petition in the case stating that the four employees of his company were abducted by the local police and urged the court to issue directions to the police for production of the four employees before it.
Responding on the petition, the HC asked the Madhapur police to produce the four employees before it by 10.30 am on Monday. Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police launched a hunt for the main accused D. Ashok in the case. Separate teams have been constituted to arrest him and the teams have been sent to Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Vizag and Nellore districts. On the other hand, another criminal case was filed against the IT firm at SR Nagar police station by the YSRCP youth wing leader Ram Reddy. (NSS)
