Hyderabad: Relatives of a patient one Nagendra Prasad of Suryapet, who died in Yashoda Hospital here on Friday due to alleged negligence of doctors, staged dharna in front of the hospital. They also alleged that the police, who visited the hospital, were extending support to the hospital authorities.
Patient’s relatives said Nagendra Prasad, who was suffering from low blood pressure, was admitted to the hospital three days ago and died due to criminal negligence of doctors. They alleged that the doctors did not allow even the patient’s wife to see him in the hospital. The enraged relatives said the hospital authorities informed them about Nagendra Prasad’s death only after paying all the bills at midnight. (NSS)
