Hyderabad: Decks have been cleared for the formal release of director Ram Gopal Varma’s “Lakshmi’s NTR” movie in Andhra Pradesh State. The media certification and monitoring committee of Andhra Pradesh State has allowed the producer to release the movie in the State.
Producer Rakesh Reddy said he appeared before the committee following a directive and cleared all the doubts related to the movie. He also said the committee has asked him to appear before it if there were any objections after the release of the movie.
Addressing media persons, Rakesh Reddy said they have not hurt the feelings and emotions of anybody in the movie and added that the movie was based on the book written by wife of NTR Lakshmi Parvathi. He also said they had only dealt with one incident of the life of NTR and added that the movie would revolve around the same.
Commenting on his relationship with YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, producer Rakesh Reddy said Jagan was his party’s founder and added that he was not a relative of Jagan. (NSS)
