Delhi Air Quality Index Improves To “Satisfactory”

As per the latest reports, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) on Friday improved to satisfactory and settled at 176 from the very poor’ class after the national capital got light downpour joined by the breezy breeze the earlier day. An AQI somewhere in the range of nothing and 50 is considered ‘great’; 51 and 100 ‘agreeable’; 101 and 200 ‘moderate’; 201 and 300 ‘poor’; 301 and 400 ‘extremely poor’; 401 and 500 ‘serious.’

The degree of both PM 10 and PM 2.5 contaminations in the public capital’s air were under the ‘moderate’ class.

“AQI today designates ‘moderate’ air quality, improved essentially from yesterday’s ‘exceptionally poor’ air quality because of downpour and breezy breeze that cleaned out particulate matter in air. A couple of spells of light downpour are reasonable today further developing AQI further however to stay inside ‘Moderate’,” the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) said in an update.

As indicated by the air quality and climate release given by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, “the air quality is probably going to stay in ‘moderate’ to very poor category” on February 5 and ‘poor’ to bring down the finish of ‘exceptionally poor’ classification on February 6”.

“The air quality is probably going to disintegrate to very poor classification on February 7, however remain generally in helpless class from that point,” it added.
