Delhi High Court Grants Protection To Inter-Faith Couple From Bride’s Family

As per the latest reports, the Delhi High Court has decided to provide security to an interfaith couple on a request in which they said that they are confronting significant threat to life from the relatives of the bride. The bride had married the 24-year-old person according to Hindu rituals and services.

Bride’s Family Threatens The Couple 

As indicated by the petitioners, the 26 year-old woman, who has finished graduation, got hitched to a man from one more faith at an Arya Samaj Mandir in upper east Delhi against the desires of her family.

The guardians and relatives of the woman were against the marriage and there are now threats to life and freedom of the petitioners from them, said the request recorded through advocates D.K. Santoshi and Rahul Kumar Singh, pointing that the bride was whipped by the relatives on December 11.

While conceding police insurance to the couple, the court expressed in Wednesday’s organization that, assuming any pass happens in the security of the petitioners, the ACP of Ashok Vihar region, and the SHO, Police Station Keshav Puram will be expected to take responsibility.

The court likewise gave notice to the respondents including the state while the Additional Solicitor General acknowledged the notification looking for some an ideal opportunity to record the status report. He additionally expressed that the essential assurance will be given to the petitioners.

Gujarat High Court Reunites Interfaith Couple

The Gujarat high court recently rejoined an interfaith couple who had run off last year, however were isolated later they were found. The Hindu man was captured on charges of assault and infringement of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offenses Act (Pocso) and the Muslim young lady was placed in a safe house home in Junagadh for over a year.

As per the case subtleties, the couple are from Kodinar block in Gir Somnath area. In August last year, they stole away and the young lady’s dad stopped a FIR against the man blaming the 22-year-old for assault and infringement of the Pocso Act, on the grounds that the young lady was a minor at that point. Police captured them in November. As there were criminal allegations against the man, police captured him and sent him to legal authority.
