Limited Impact
In an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court, the Delhi government informed that the GNCTD is ready to take steps like imposing complete lockdown and control the local emissions. However, these steps would be impactful if they are implemented in the NCR areas in the neighbouring states as well. With Delhi’s compact size, a lockdown would only have a limited size on the air quality.
