Mancherial: The ruling Telangana Rashtra SAmithi (TRS) is facing the heat of resentment from some of its aspirants who have been denied tickets in the list of candidates for 105 constituencies announced so far. Former MLA representing Chennur constituency, Nallala Odelu, who was denied a ticket by TRS, is upset that MP from Peddapalli, Balka Suman has been selected for Chennur constituency.
Odelu himself imposed self house arrest by locking himself up and declared that he would come out only after the issue was settled by party supremo K. Chandrashekhar Rao and a clear assurance on ticket was given to him. His wife, son, daughter and also his Mother were also inside the House. Odelu said that he had never undulged in anti-party activity and that KCR is God to him even today. He was deeply pained that while all other sitting MLAs were given ticket, he was denied it. He said he was not given party ticket because of Balka Suman.
Odelu’s self imposed house arrest thrown his family members and followers into a state of panic. TRS party men are trying to persuade the former Chennur MLA to relent and end the house arrest.(NSS)
