Disputes break out between Congress and AIMIM workers in Hyderabad

 An ongoing clash between Congress and AIMIM party workers has created mild tension at Shaheennagar in Jalpally municipality. An official of the local Congress party, Shaik Yousuf Quadri, went on to inspect the flooded Nabil Colony and interacted with the residents, according to local reports.

AIMIM’s local leaders, however, prevented him from entering the area and forced him out. Our visit was prevented by the local AIMIM workers, who threatened to keep us away from the area in the future.

They pushed us out of the area, forcing us all to leave, said Shaik Yousuf. AIMIM workers claimed that Congress leaders were inciting locals against the party and the official machinery. The Balapur police arrived at the scene on information and subsequently posted pickets.

Satyagraha Program To Be Held By Congress Party At Gandi Bhavan

On the 26th of this month, the Congress party will hold a Satyagraha program. Several party leaders have been asked to participate in the program. According to reports, the program condemned the witch-hunt conducted by the BJP-led central government against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi over ED cases. It has been stated that the program will be held peacefully. The satyagraha program will begin at 10 am in the morning at the ED office and last until Sonia Gandhi leaves. The program condemns Sonia Gandhi’s summons for interrogation by the ED for the second consecutive time. TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC office bearers, party MLAs, MLCs, MPs, former MLAs, MLCs and MPs, DCC presidents block party presidents will participate in the program.

Revanth Reddy accuses TRS of harassing Congress leaders who want to join the party

In a statement on Tuesday, A Revanth Reddy, chief of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, claimed that the TRS party harasses leaders who are joining or planning to join the Congress party following their defection from the ruling party. Revanth Reddy, along with CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, told media members that he met with AICC general secretary K C Venugopal to discuss the party’s internal affairs. He said that on July 7, 2022, he would complete one year as TPCC chief, and described the activities of the party’s state unit. There will be several more party leaders joining the Congress in the days to come, he added, and it would depend on how the political situation is in other districts whether they would be welcomed.
