Hyderabad: TRS leadership today sought the EC to disqualify congress alliance candidate Kuna Venkatesh for distributing money and threatening the ruling party candidate. A team of TRS including MLC Srinivas Reddy, election coordination committee members M Ramesh Reddy, D Vithal and others on Monday called on Joint CEO Amrapali at Secretariat and submitted a complaint against Kuna Venkatesh for poll code violation at the behest of some Andhra leaders.
Later talking to media persons at Secretariat media point, they said that the congress leaders are indulging in violating the poll code. We have submitted the proof of the complaint to the EC and sought immediate action they said. The TRS leaders said that Amrapali has promised to take up the issue with CEO Rajat Kumar for the action as per norms. (NSS)
