DRDO’s TDF Scheme Increased to Rs50 Cr Per Project

In the latest updates, the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has endorsed improvement of subsidizing under Technology Development Fund (TDF) plan of the Ministry of Defense to Rs 50 crore for each task from Rs 10 crore, said an explanation from the Ministry Of Defense on Wednesday.

The TDF scheme, executed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), upholds native advancement of parts, items, frameworks and innovations by MSMEs and new businesses. The TDF Scheme expects to give a significant fillip to the protection fabricating area by empowering the business to enhance and foster defense innovations to put India on the confidence direction.

The plan works with up to 90 percent of the all out project cost and permits industry to work in consortium with another industry/the scholarly world.

He said the guard passage reported by the public authority in Tamil Nadu and UP would give a fillip to the indigenisation of defence parts.

Expressing that the situation had changed, Reddy said that the business had moved from “work to print” to “work to particulars” in the new year.
