Hyderabad: Raj Bhavan will observe ‘Earth Hour India’ initiatived by WWF, by switching off lights and electrical appliances between 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Saturday to support the noble cause of environmental protection.
Raj Bhavan authorities have requested the TSSPDCL to shut down the transformer supplying power to staff quarters, Sudharma office building, Durbar Hall, North Block Guest House, New Guest House, Dispensary and Driver quarters for one hour from 8.30pm to 9.30 pm on Saturday, including outdoor lighting inside the Raj Bhavan.
