Hyderabad : CEO Rajat Kumar today said that the Election Commission is to take a decision on the police appeal to complete the election process a bit early in seven naxal infested districts. Talking to media persons at Secretariat here, Rajat Kumar maintained that the EC is to take a decision in this regard after taking pros and cons of the issue. ‘We have been receiving complaints that all the political parties are not being allowed to hold meetings. There are complaints from districts like Karimnagar, Medak and Khammam districts.
The EC will take serious action if any one makes deliberate attempts against such meetings’ he warned. Referring to TRS complaint on Andhra Pradesh Intelligence police conducting illegal surveys in Telangana in the wake of polls, he said that DGP concerned is yet to give his reply on the issue.(NSS)
