ED Raids Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s Residence and Company

In a significant development, officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at the residence of Telangana’s Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Friday. The raids also targeted his company, Raghava Constructions and Infra, with multiple offices located in Banjarahills, Hyderabad.

According to sources within the agency, 16 teams of ED officials are involved in the operation, conducting searches not only at the Minister’s residence but also at the homes and offices of the Managing Director and Directors of Raghava Constructions within the Jubilee Hills area.

In addition to the Banjarahills searches, the ED is also carrying out operations at the Minister’s residence located in Khammam district headquarters. Reports indicate that the raids are being led by officials from the Delhi zonal office, and there appears to be no prior information shared with the Hyderabad zonal officials regarding this operation.

The raids have sparked discussions among Congress cadres and leaders, especially concerning Raghava Constructions, which recently secured the Narayanapet-Kodangal lift irrigation project. Sources suggest that the current raids are linked to previous investigations carried out by the ED prior to the Assembly elections.

As the situation unfolds, more details regarding the implications of these searches and the ongoing investigation are anticipated, raising questions about the political and operational ramifications for the Minister and his associates.
