Ramagundam: NTPC has taken many initiatives for environment protection. One such initiative is promotion of e-mobility in NTPC Projects, Stations and office locations. NTPC-Ramgundam joined this initiative with commissioning of EV charging station.
Prakash Tiwari, Director (Operations), NTPC inaugurated Electric Vehicle Charging Station at NTPC-Ramagundam PTS Township Main Gate on November 15, 2018. One more Electric Vehicle Charging station also installed Near PTS Township B-Type Gate. Installed by M/s MASS-TECH Controls, each AC charger can charge 3No.s of cars simultaneously.
During this occasion, the Director (Operations) also inaugurated Electric Golf Cart Vehicle services. It is planned to deploy six Golf Cart Vehicles in PTS and Plant to facilitate commuters as well as vendors.
