Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod today stated that Tribals and Adivasis in the districts should not suffer from corona treatment. She stressed the need for providing the best treatment and services to the women, pregnant women, and those post delivery in these hospitals in remote agency areas.
She held a review meeting with collectors of Mahabubabad Mulugu, Bhupalapally, and other districts and officials and took stock of Corona treatment and facilities. Stating that she will visit these districts the minister asked for a focus on remote villages in Eturu Nagaram and provide better treatment to tribals.

Since the pandemic in the second wave led to a rise in cases and the government is taking all steps to break the chain. The state government took a decision to break the virus chain through a lockdown, she said. It will reduce the spread of the virus and ensure the cases come down. This can be achieved with active coordination by the officials and cooperation of people, she noted.
Rathod said that the officials focus on women, girls get the necessary treatment. The minister instructed that the collectors should continuously monitor the situation and provide immediately all facilities in the hospitals. Rathod said that the officials can purchase equipment to ensure speedy services to the corona patients.
The minister stressed the need for enhancing the facilities in these places. All the hospitals and health centers in the rural areas and districts have to offer better treatment she said. There shall not be any convenience caused to the poor tribals and Adivasis or any others.

The villages which are away from towns and cities should not be neglected by the minister. We are offering needed funds to provide oxygen, beds, medicines, and injections. The inoculation drive is taken up to ensure that Corona pandemic.
