Narsapur (Medak): The police here today arrested former minister Sunitha Laxma Reddy when she tried to conduct her husband Laxma Reddy’s death anniversary celebrations. However, the police thwarted her efforts saying prohibitory order under Section 144 CrPC was in force.
Annoyed over police action, the senior Congress leader staged dharna at Ambedkar Crossroads along with her followers. The police arrested all of them, including Sunitha Laxma Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunitha said the “coward” TRS leaders were indulging in vengeful acts as they were not able to face her politically. (NSS)
