Hyderabad: Mulugu by the hon’ble Chief Minister Telangana. students of Benarus Hindu University entrance examination for admission into M.Sc. Agroforestry is topped by the Mr. Venkateshwar Reddy by securing the first rank. Altogether 23 seats out of which 4 are from the FCRI Hyderabad@ Mulugu.
Banaras Hindu University is a Central University which is established exactly 100 years before the FCRI establishment in 2016.
The first batch of FCRI students completed their degree recently and are doing well in all the entrance examinations conducted so far. Two students have already got their admission into the University of Alabama USA with scholarship and tuition fees waived off.
Mr. B. Venkateshwar Reddy S/o B. Veereshwar reddy his father is an ex-serviceman and his mother is a homemaker native to Jaklair village, Madal: Maktal, and District: Narayanpet.
“Forest college and research institute is a place where we learned a practical application of theoretical knowledge and lab to field application is given much more importance which made us learn the concepts clearly and we learned ongoing projects and the importance of forest for generations to come. The faculty helped us a lot to clear each and every minor doubt imparting knowledge to us”.
Vennela Reddy Purumandla D/o Purumandla Kondal Reddy and Revathi. Father is a veterinary doctor and mother is a homemaker and she is from village Bakrichepyal of Siddipet district.
“FCRI is a place where I have learned new things. Initially, I didn’t have much knowledge regarding forestry but when I joined this college I came to know the depth of the forestry. The knowledge I got during practical exposures and theoretical classes helped a lot in building my career in the field of forestry research. It wouldn’t have been if the dean and faculty have not been scheduled our studies so clearly in a practical manner. Their efforts made us reach heights”.

College life in FCRI is truly one of its kind. We were surrounded by a green and peaceful environment. Our Dean sir, both Deputy Directors, and All the Faculty members constantly been supportive to the students and driven towards the Vision and Mission of the college. We had traveled miles throughout India, walked into forests, and got a practical exposure in the field of study, learned a lot of new things. I was very proud and happy to be a student of the First batch in FCRI.
The year 2020 admissions will be open from 5th of October for undergraduate and graduate courses in Forestry the civil services examination 2020 is to be attempted on 4th October by our students and advance wishes to all from the FCRI fraternity.
