Hyderabad: The fourth board meeting of the Karimnagar Smart City Corporation held at Secretariat today approved the feasibility reports for various projects in Karimnagar. These include Skywalk at Geetha Bhavan junction, Tower Circle pedestrianization, old bridge beautification, sports complex at BR Ambedkar stadium, solid waste management, pilot zones for 24×7 water supply, road signages, integrated command control centre and smart classrooms. The board also discussed the concept plans for lower manair dam and solar power generation project.
Principal Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar, Director Municipal Administration Dr T K Sridevi, Collector Karimnagar Sarfraz Ahmed, Mayor Sardar Ravinder Singh, Commissioner Karimnagar Municipality K Shashanka and other officials along with the members of the project management consultants attended the meeting. Later the principal secretary launched the website of the Karimnagar Smart City Corporation. (NSS)
