On Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out after an LPG cylinder exploded at a hotel in Mehdipatnam, damaging furniture and other items.
An explosion of the LPG cylinder caused a fire in the Kings Hotel in the afternoon, according to fire officials. Everyone fled the premises, including the workers and customers. Firefighters and police officers rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames.
Area residents were in a state of panic for a while. Investigations are being conducted by the Asifnagar police.
