Hyderabad: A plastic recycling unit in Katedan on the city outskirts gutted in a fire accident in the early hours today. However, there was no casualty.
According to Fire Service officials, the fire broke out early in the morning at the unit located in the Katedan Industrial Area. Two fire tenders from Chandulal Baradari rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after battling for two hours. The local police brought the factory workers out. The Fire Service officials suspect electrical short-circuit might be the reason for inferno. (NSS)
