sunnipenta: Six miscreants allegedly attacked forest officers on duty in Sunnipenta in Kurnool district on Tuesday night.
According to reports, Forest Section Officer Jyothi Swaroop tried to stop six persons, who were consuming liquor near the Forest Office. The drunken miscreants beat the forest officer saying “how dare you obstruct an MLC’s son? We will see your end’. The desperadoes also said they will leave the officer only if the officer touches their feet. On receipt of the information, the police rushed to the spot and arrested five persons while another took to heels. The Kurnool II Town Police interrogated the accused.
Meanwhile, the video shot by one of the Forest staffers, went viral in the social media. (NSS)
