Amaravati: Former Minister of the state minister K. Atchanaidu got conditional bail in the high court of the state Today in a case related to sensational multi-crore ESI scam.
The HC has asked Atchanaidu to furnish ₹2 lakh surety besides asking him to not leave the country without the permission of the court. It also asked him to not influence the witnesses in the case Besides asking him to cooperate with the investigation officer.
Naidu is currently undergoing treatment at Mangalagiri based NRI hospital after being infected with COVID 19 viruses. Although the counsel for minister Atchanaidu urged the court to grant bail to him earlier on the grounds of ill health, it was rejected by the court.
Following this, the counsel for the former minister moved the HC again on the issue. Supreme Court advocate Siddarth Lutra and senior Advocate Venkateswarlu argued the cader before the HC three days back. Following this, the HC reserved its judgment in the case and announced that it would deliver it on Friday.
