Hyderabad: On a tip-off, West Zone Task Force personnel raided Sitara Grand Hotel on Road No 12, Banjara Hills on Tuesday midnight and arrested one Md Mujahid Ali, 29, along with three others for playing 3-Cards gambling.
Police said Md Mujahid Ali was organizing gaming house in the hotel by taking commission for each game from the players. The police seized Rs 1,10,510 cash, 104 Playing cards and five cell phones from their possession. The accused were handed over to the Banjara Hills police Station.
Some held at Jinsi Chowraha house
In the second case, the sleuths raided Imliyabagh, Jinsi Chowraha, Mangalhat and arrested some gamblers playing 3-cards gambling on premises No 14-10-54 there. The accused persons along with seized material were handed over to the Mangalhat police. (NSS)
