Free Civil Service Coaching for Minority Students in Telangana: Enhancing Representation and Opportunities

The Telangana Minorities Study Circle and Career Council Centre have declared that minority students in Telangana will be able to receive free civil service coaching. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will equip 100 selected minority students with a coaching programme in 2024. The application period will begin on June 26 and end on July 13.

The coaching programme seeks to be inclusive by reserving 33.33 percent of the seats for female candidates and 5% for people with disabilities. On July 23, candidates will take a screening test to evaluate their eligibility for the coaching programme. Candidates must be from the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, or Parsi community and have a general or professional degree. First-time applicants must produce a certificate proving their guardian’s annual income of up to Rs 2 lakh.

Applications can be submitted online via the official website, and screening examinations will be held at Telangana minority residential schools for ease of access. The website has extensive information.
