Hyderabad: The major party in the grand alliance, Congress party on Monday created a new tension to alliance partners TDP and TJS parties by issuing B-forms to its leaders from the constituencies, which have been allotted to them. This has created complete chaos among the TDP and TJS party leaders now.
The Congress has allotted Warangal East, Dubbaka, Miryalaguda to TJS. Similarly, it has allotted Patancheru, Huzurabad and Ibrahimpatnam assembly constituencies to the TDP. However, the party has now issued the B-forms to its leaders and asked them to contest from these seats. Among the TJS seats, Congress has given B-forms to Maddula Nageswar Reddy from Dubbaka, V. Ravichandra from Warangal East, R. Krishnaiah from Miryalaguda; and among the TDP seats, it has given the B-form to Malreddy Ranga Reddy for Ibrahimpatnam assembly seat and Kata Srinivas Goud for Patancheru seat.
The Senior Congress leaders, while commenting on the issue, said that they have issued the B-forms to the party candidates as they wanted to have a friendly contest with the alliance partners. However, the leaders of the grand alliance partners are saying that this is nothing but betrayal of the trust of the alliance partners by the Congress party. “ How can the Congress issue B-forms from the seats allotted to us. We will not tolerate this. We will take it up with the Congress party high command and urge it to ensure that all its leaders withdrew from our seats,” a TJS leader said.(NSS)
